Psalms 53
- 1The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done disgusting wrongdoing: there is none that does good.
- 2God looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
- 3Every one of them has gone back: they are altogether become filthy. There is none that does good, no, not one.
- 4Have the evildoers no knowledge? Who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called on God.
- 5There they were in great fear, where no fear was. For God has scattered the bones of him who camps against you: you have put them to shame, because God has despised them.
- 6Oh, if only Israel's salvation would come from Zion! When God brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of Psalms 53 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
