Psalms 131
- 1Lord, my heart is not proud, or my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
- 2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child who is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
- 3Let Israel hope in the Lord from now on and for ever.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of Psalms 131 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
KJVLord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
