Psalms 127
- 1Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it: unless the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.
- 2It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows. For so he gives his beloved sleep.
- 3Children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
- 4As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of the youth.
- 5Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of Psalms 127 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
