Psalms 32
- 1Blessed is he whose rebellion is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
- 2Blessed is the man the Lord does not charge with wrongdoing, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
- 3When I kept silence, my bones grew old through my roaring all the day long.
- 4For day and night your hand was heavy on me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
- 5I acknowledge my sin to you, and my wrongdoing have I not hid. I said, I will confess my rebellion to the Lord, and you forgave the wrongdoing of my sin. Selah.
- 6For this shall every one that is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near to him.
- 7You are my hiding place. You shall preserve me from trouble. You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
- 8I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with my eye.
- 9Do not be like a horse or a mule, without understanding. They need bit and bridle to hold them in check. Without that restraint, they will not approach you.
- 10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.
- 11Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of Psalms 32 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
