Psalms 3
- 1Lord, how the number of those who trouble me has grown! Many are those who rise up against me.
- 2Many say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
- 3But you, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
- 4I cried to the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
- 5I lay down and slept, I woke up, for the Lord sustained me.
- 6I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me on every side.
- 7Arise, O Lord, save me, O my God. For you have struck all my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the godless.
- 8Salvation belongs to the Lord: your blessing is on your people. Selah.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of Psalms 3 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
