Psalms 11
- 1I put my trust in the Lord. How can you say to my soul, Flee like a bird to your mountain?
- 2For the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow on the string, that they may secretly shoot at the upright in heart.
- 3If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
- 4The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of men.
- 5The Lord tries the righteous: but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.
- 6On the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and burning sulfur, and a scorching wind: this shall be the portion of their cup.
- 7For the righteous Lord loves righteousness, his face looks on the upright.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of Psalms 11 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
