2 Corinthians 6
- 1We then, as workers together with him, beg you also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.
- 2For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you. Now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation.
- 3Giving no offense in anything, that the ministry is not blamed.
- 4But in all things showing ourselves to be ministers of God, in much patience, in sufferings, in necessities, in distresses,
- 5In beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in sleepless nights, in going without food.
- 6By pureness, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by genuine love.
- 7By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
- 8By honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report, as deceivers, and yet true.
- 9As unknown, and yet well known, as dying, and we live, as disciplined, and not killed.
- 10As sad, yet always rejoicing, as poor, yet making many rich, as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
- 11O you Corinthians, our mouth is open to you, our heart is enlarged.
- 12We have not held back our affection for you, but you have held back your own affection.
- 13Now return the same affection. I speak as to my children: open your hearts too.
- 14Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?
- 15And what concord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has he who believes with an unbeliever?
- 16And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said, I will live in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
- 17Therefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing, and I will receive you.
- 18And will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of 2 Corinthians 6 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
