Colossians 4
- 1Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
- 2Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
- 3Pray also for us at the same time, that God would open a door for us to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains.
- 4That I may make it clear, as I ought to speak.
- 5Act wisely toward those outside the church, making the most of the time.
- 6Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.
- 7Tychicus will tell you all about my situation. He is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord.
- 8I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that he might know how you are doing, and encourage your hearts.
- 9With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known to you all things which are done here.
- 10Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark, cousin to Barnabas. Concerning him you received commandments: if he comes to you, receive him.
- 11And Jesus, who is called Justus, also greets you. These are the only ones of the circumcision who are my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.
- 12Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, greets you, always working hard for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
- 13For I testify about him, that he has a great zeal for you, and those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.
- 14Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
- 15Greet the brothers and sisters who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
- 16And when this letter is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the letter from Laodicea.
- 17And say to Archippus, Pay attention to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfil it.
- 18I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen.
