Hosea 3
- 1Then the Lord said to me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.
- 2So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and about 9 bushels of barley:
- 3And I said to her, You shall stay for me many days. You shall not play the prostitute, and you shall not be for another man: so I will also be for you.
- 4For the children of Israel shall stay many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without household idols:
- 5Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king. And shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.
What changed from the KJV
GIGAKJV is a modern English revision of the King James Version. The comparison below uses the project's KJV text in the later 1769 tradition and marks, word by word, each verse of Hosea 3 where the wording differs: struck-through words are the KJV's, highlighted words are GIGAKJV's.
